Digital:

Farm shoot - $500 per hour.

Product: Results will partly be based on the client. There is not a limit on the number of horses that may be photographed in the hour, however when possible no more than two at a time. The quantity will be up to the client’s organization, the location and what assistance is available, typically 30 to 70 photos per horse. I will be available to preview, with the client, the photographs on a computer or TV screen. Then photographs will be loaded to a cd, when able, one cd per horse. (See Terms.)

Note: Out of the Houston, TX area photography should expect a travel surcharge

Digital Race Track Photographs:

Priced per horse per race.

1st, 2nd & 3rd digital photograph of a horse - $125.00 per photograph

4th photo and up - $500.00 for entire cd – regardless of number of photographs of the individual horse.

(Depending on the positioning of the horses and the outcome of the race the race cds have from 4 to 350 photos – more are available for 2 turns – and usually more per horse than one turn, when there is just the last 2 or so furlongs of photo opportunity.) Unfortunately my opportunity is also limited at certain tracks because of the track policies. (See Terms.)

One time digital use: 1 use of a digital photograph may be purchased for $50. This may be used once for a print ad. This purchase will be transmitted via e-mail from the photographer to the destination, included in the price. (See Terms.)

Note: When at the track for racing – I will be available to photograph non-race photos – each horse on a separate cd - $125. (See Terms.)

Prints:

The options are extensive as to what the photo is printed on (regular photo paper all the way up to canvas) and the type of finish (flat to brushed stroke appearance).

The basic 8X10 print will be $50 and that will include all packaging and shipping.

Extras:

Computer time for forwarding photos, cropping, enhancements & etc. $80/hour in 15 minute increments.

Terms:

Prints are just that – a print with no right for reuse or reproduction either by print or digital.

Digital - The client will receive the CDs of useable photos and have the right to use the photographs on a web site, use for print advertisement and promotion of their horse and/or their business and also have the right to create prints for personal and/or gift use. There will not be a time limit nor a limit on volume of use. The client will have permission to edit photographs – because of this the photographs will arrive to the client without the photographers name imbedded on the photograph. The client MUST place the name of the photographer either on, directly next to, above or below the photograph when using for any purpose. The only exception will be if the photograph will be used as a personal and/or business greeting card (not for resale) and then the name may be placed on the back of the card instead.

The client WILL NOT have the right to use the photos for the purpose of selling the photographs as such, either in a printed form or via any digital form.

Photographs are protected under international copyright laws.

The photographer retains copies of all work. The photographer retains the right to sell again the photograph and/or use the photographs in the promotion of the photographer’s business.
