Beginning with 2010, an entity that nominates a horse into the ARC program is entitled to vote on the selected, current year nominees for Darley Awards. You become eligible to participate in choosing the official racing Champions of our breed.

Fully nominate a stallion for the 2010 breeding season? You will get to vote.

Make a weanling payment? You will get to vote.

Finish a nomination with a yearling payment? You will get to vote.

Late nominate a runner? You will get to vote.

An individual will only get one vote regardless of how many horses that person nominates. If a person serves on a board and already receives a voting privilege, that person will still only vote once. Also, the list resets every year so in order to vote each year, the entity must nominate a horse each year. Simply make sure the ARC has your correct email address when you send in your nomination because voting takes place online. Make your voice heard. Nominate your horses to the ARC program!

In order to allow as many stallion owners as possible to participate, the postmark deadline for sending in your stallion payment has been extended to April 15, 2010.

Who Can Participate...

Any stallion recognized by the Arabian Horse Association is eligible to participate in this breeders' incentive program.

Why nominate your stallion to the Arabian Racing Cup program?

1. Paybacks:

As the Sire Nominator, you earn a ten percent (10%) award anytime the stallion's nominated Cup Runners finish first through third in a race with at least a $1,000 purse and 7 starters. You will receive these payouts for the foal's entire racing career regardless of owner.

2. The Arabian Racing Cup is the ONLY nation-wide breeders incentive program for racing.

3. Mare owners want to breed to Cup-nominated stallions.

4. Buyers want to purchase Cup-nominated runners. (Results of the auction sales show Cup nominated horses as high sellers.)

5. You receive promotional value... your stallion receives prominent placement with his own stallion page, photo, information and link to your website or email on the Cup's website.

6. You receive entitlement to participate in selecting the Champions of our industry with a vote for the Darley Awards.
